Dr. Tanmeet Singh, B.Sc., DMD
As a clinician, Dr. Singh applies his skills in a manner that is courteous and educational. He truly believes that patient education is just as important as treatment when it comes to oral health. Dr. Singh uses his effective communication skills and patient-centered philosophy to ensure that the patient has the best dental experience possible.
Dr. Singh was born and raised in Calgary and is honoured to be able to give back to the community that gave him so much. After graduating from Chestermere High School, he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Science at the University of Calgary while simultaneously earning a soccer scholarship and playing for the varsity soccer team. Upon graduating with a B.Sc. degree, he followed his dream of becoming a dentist all the way to the beautiful city of Vancouver to attend the prestigious University of British Columbia. Once he received his DMD from UBC, he was eager to return home to Calgary to apply his skills.
Dr. Singh has always been a great proponent of giving back to the community. During his undergraduate years at UofC he volunteered much of his time to the Big Brothers and Sisters organization along with volunteering at the Foothills Hospital. He continues to value the importance of giving back and still contributes to the Big Brothers and Sisters foundation along with the Ronald Macdonald House. Moreover, he has been involved with various overseas volunteer initiatives to help provide dental care and education to underserved dental communities of the world.
