Born in Japan to Brazilian parents but raised in Canada, Dr. Mariana Capretz has quite the international background. As such, Dr. Capretz prides herself in providing a welcoming, comfortable, and educational patient experience. Her goal in every appointment is educating patients so that they understand their oral health better and can subsequently make informed decisions about their treatment plan. She is happy to provide services in both English and Portuguese!
Having been raised in London, Ontario, Dr. Mariana Capretz obtained her Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree with Honours from Western University. She then decided she wanted to practice her French and obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at McGill University. Upon graduating, her and her husband moved to Vancouver Island where she worked there for few years before moving to Calgary.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Capretz enjoys reading, playing badminton and tennis with her husband, and hanging out with her 2 cats, Monty & Fino. She is always on the lookout for fun activities to do in Calgary or delicious places to eat – so if you have any recommendations, please let her know!
